Maths Subject Knowledge Enhancement for Teaching Assistants

MathsThere is an opportunity for Teaching Assistants to improve and deepen their Maths subject Knowledge and pedagogy. Increased confidence in their own subject knowledge, and enhanced awareness of how children gain number sense and learn Mathematics will allow TAs to better support children in the classroom and during small group or individual intervention.

The Maths Subject Knowledge Enhancement for Teaching Assistants Work Group is being run by the Jurassic Maths Hub with four face to face meetings commencing in January.
