“The session will dig deeper into the underpinning recommendation from the guidance report about disciplinary literacy and explore the implications of this for curriculum. In particular, it will explore what we mean by ‘literacy across the curriculum’; the extent to which poor literacy can be a barrier to curriculum access; and how we might employ rigorous implementation to move beyond superficial relationships between curriculum and literacy.”
